You might have heard of some people who “hold the keys to the Internet”. This sounds very exciting - but is it really correct?
In our webinar series for the Central European and Baltic region, David Huberman (Technical Engagement Manager, ICANN) will explain what this really is about and why it’s critical to Internet security. He will describe the purpose of these keys, the responsibilities of the key holders, and he’ll take us through what a key signing ceremony looks like.
You will also have a chance to meet and ask questions to a key holder from the region: Ondrej Filip (Czech Republic), who will tell us about his experience being a keyholder and how he serves the global Internet in this role.
