Swedes buy domain names

The Swedish top level domain .se registry IIS published a very interesting reserch paper The Swedes and the Internet 2015. The research shows that the number of Internet users in Sweden is still growing. In 2015 over 95% of the population aged 8 - 55 use the Internet.

65% of swedes know what a domain name is, and 15% of them have registered a domain name for their personal use. Currently there are more than 1.4 million domain names in .se.
