.LV at the CENTR Jamboree

On 29-31 May 2017, CENTR held its annual Jamboree, kindly hosted by DENIC in Frankfurt. More than 200 participants representing 39 registries and six CENTR working groups gathered to discuss trending topics in the ccTLD world.

.LV registry was represented by participants from Marketing, Administrative, Legal, R&D and Technical groups.

Six working groups (Marketing, Administrative, R&D, Technical, Legal & Regulatory and Security) held stand-alone morning meetings, followed by joint afternoon sessions. One full day was also dedicated to 20 topic-based sessions.

Over the three days, participants discussed regulation compliance, security and crisis protocols, big data & statistics, business intelligence, content & liability, cybercrime, new business opportunities, blockchain, and much more.

As mentioned by Jörg Schweiger (DENIC), Chair of the CENTR Board of Directors, in his welcome video, there is a need for greater cooperation in a changing market and security environment. The CENTR Jamboree brought together registries to find creative solutions to common challenges.
