ICANN webinar: Missions with a Dot

Missions with a Dot: Your Cause, Your Domain Name

ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) is hosting a webinar for organizations in Europe and North America, offering the opportunity to learn how a new generic top-level domain (gTLD) can help achieve strategic goals.

For the first time in over a decade, businesses, communities, regional and local governments, nonprofits, and other institutions will be able to apply for a new gTLD. The part of a web address that comes after the last dot (for example, “.org” in www.icann.org) is a unique digital asset that can serve cultural, geographic, linguistic, and professional communities, providing a trusted and secure online space.

This webinar will cover:

  • How a gTLD can help create a meaningful and trusted digital space that strengthens your mission;
  • Financial and non-financial support available through the Applicant Support Program;
  • Key dates and milestones ahead of the application period, expected to open in April 2026.
