Domain Pulse 2026 in St.Gallen

Domain Pulse 2026 is the annual conference of the DACH region ccTLDs (.de, .at, .ch, .li), which in 2026 took place in St. Gallen, Switzerland. This year’s central question was: how secure is the internet, and how do trust, cooperation, and responsibility shape our digital future?

The conference brought together experts, companies, researchers, and policymakers from various countries, emphasizing that internet security is a shared responsibility. Over the course of two days, presentations and discussions covered DNS security, the implementation of NIS2, mitigation of malicious domain name abuse, threat intelligence, data protection, as well as human-centric security and the impact of artificial intelligence on the industry.

The most valuable takeaway was the practical examples from other registries on strengthening security, automating processes, and improving policies, as well as the opportunity to exchange experiences and build connections with industry peers in person.
