The Internet as a Battlefield: Cyber Threats and Disinformation in Contemporary Information Warfare

In today’s interconnected world, the Internet is no longer merely a means of communication and information exchange – it has become a key battleground in modern conflicts.

The conference “The Internet as a Battlefield: Cyber Threats and Disinformation in Contemporary Information Warfare” will explore how digital technologies, online platforms, and networked societies are used as weapons to influence public opinion, manipulate information, and destabilize political, social, and economic systems. The event aims to foster dialogue and collaboration among experts, researchers, and practitioners to strengthen resilience and protect the integrity of the digital information space.

This two-day international conference has been designed to ensure maximum accessibility and participant engagement:

• Day 1 will be held online, enabling global participation through expert presentations and panel discussions.
  
• Day 2 will take place on-site at Kozminski University in Warsaw, fostering in-person discussions, collaboration, and networking across sectors.
