•  .edu.lv - Subdomain for educational institutions
• .gov.lv - Subdomain for government and semi-government entities. Registrations in this subdomain are handled by LVRTC 
• .org.lv - Subdomain for various forms of affiliation groups
• .mil.lv - Subdomain for defense entities of Latvia
•  .id.lv - Subdomain for individuals
• .net.lv - Subdomain for network infrastructure providers
• .asn.lv - Subdomain for associations
• .conf.lv - Subdomain for conferences and exibitions requiring short duration Internet connectivity
